Assisted Living Supervisor will provide leadership as well as clinical management to assist the resident in maintaining the highest level of independence possible. Direct the overall management of Assisted Living in accordance
with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established policies and procedures, and as may be directed. Provides professional nursing care to the organization's residents as prescribed by the physician, and/or
requested by the residents' family, and in compliance with the state's Nurse Practice Act, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, and the organization's policies and procedures. Supervises the day-to-day activities
of the community and ensures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFACTIONS
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. A combination of Licensed Practical
Nurse and experience may be considered.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in this state.
Must possess and maintain current CPR Certification.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Previous experience working with the geriatric population preferred
Must have 5-7 years' experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience in an assisted living, hospital, long-term care environment, or other related healthcare facility preferred.
Must possess current or be able to obtain an unencumbered, active license as RCA, AFC or HFA in the state in which the facility is located if applicable.
Must lead by example and possess superior customer service skills and professionalism
Flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.
Interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross-functional
teams, customers and end users.
Self-starter, highly motivated with high energy level.
Demonstrates superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system in PC LAN environment. Ability to type
with speed and accuracy.

the skills to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
of the organization.
