Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - Holland, MI
Job Description
Responsible for performing hands-on refrigeration technician duties to maintain our facilities' ammonia refrigeration process equipment, in addition to maintenance on various systems. With assistance from the Process Safety Management Coordinator, you will ensure compliance with all PSM elements per governmental regulations. You will also be responsible for performing hands-on mechanical duties to maintain the facility boiler equipment and associated systems.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on ammonia refrigeration process equipment.
Conduct maintenance on facility boiler equipment and associated systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance work on coils and defrost equipment.
Conduct steam boiler checks, water testing, and spot checking heat exchangers.
Work on the roof with equipment as necessary.
Work in varying temperatures, ranging from -30 to 110 degrees.
Essential Skills
1+ years of ammonia experience or 1+ years of boiler operator experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Shift Flexible
Experience in troubleshooting, HVAC, industrial settings, preventive maintenance, and the food industry.
Ammonia refrigeration system knowledge.
Refrigeration license and knowledge of refrigeration systems and refrigerants.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70720.00/yr.
