Fuel Supply / Cleaners
The person is this position will workdays shift Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm at the Belle River DTE Plant. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm 8-hour shift
Position Responsibilities:
- Dust, sweep, shovel, or mop.
- Properly use and maintain any machines that you may be trained on.
- Expected to work in hot and or dirty environment
- Mops, brushes or spreads compounds over surfaces.
- Cleans tools, equipment, materials and work area.
- Clean Feeder Deck and Coal Mills.
- Gear up for the days job
- Receive and follow all direction
- Wash from top floor hitting all ceilings, beams, walls, etc.
- Avoid direct spray on any electronics
- Disconnect hoses
- Roll up hoses and pick up all gear
- Shovel and salt walkways and entrances as necessary
- Other duties assigned
Physical Demands:
- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.
- May be required to lift, carry and move up to 25lbs.
- Occasionally work at heights, climb ladders and stairways and work off platforms.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.

- Former janitorial or light industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend Job Related Trainings as required.
- Performs other similar or related duties as necessary.
