We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team at our manufacturing facility located in Roseville, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and experience working in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including floors, restrooms, and common areas.
- Empty machining waste hoppers
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked.
- Operate forklifts to move materials and supplies as needed.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean and sustainable environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
