We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC milling and turning machines used in the production of precision parts. This position requires a strong understanding of machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting to produce high-quality parts in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning machines (with a focus on precision manifold and tool production).
- Programming & Tooling: Interpret and follow CAD/CAM programs, and perform basic edits to ensure proper tool paths for efficient part production.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure all products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the machining process to maintain smooth production flow.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of machine settings, production counts, maintenance, and any operational issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other operators to ensure seamless production processes and resolve any production challenges.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, with expertise in operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and blueprint reading.
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine and process-related issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
