STATUS: Full-Time, Regular, Non-Exempt, Hourly
REPRESENTATION: UAW Local 135
WORK LOCATION(S):
901 Broadway Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504, and/or
1040 Eastern Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49508
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
18 years or older
Legally authorized to work in the United States (American Seating Company utilizes eVerify to verify work eligibility)
Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug-Screening & Background Check
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to follow instructions in manuals, blueprints, and work instructions.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Trouble shooting.
Ability to use the computer to locate parts and report labor.
Dependable: Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standing for entire shift.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Able to twist, bend, stoop as needed.
Exposure to fiberglass.
Safety glasses are required.
