Title: 3rd Shift Supervisor
Reports To: Production Manager
Status: Full-Time/Hourly (40 hours/week; additional hours as needed to support department and individual goals).
Job Summary
To oversee, inform, instruct, and discipline all production personnel on a particular shift.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain and enforce all Safety Policies and Procedures and administer discipline as necessary.
- Monitor and ensure the Safety of employees utilizing and enforcing Lock Out Tag Out procedures by applying:
- Lock Out Tag Out Instructions
- Assisting and Auditing LOTO
- Manage, inform, instruct, and discipline all production personnel with maintaining and improving throughput efficiency as the primary job function. Utilize Funnel Cloud in the pursuit of increasing efficiency.
- Maintain a timely and continuous production flow using the Production Order Report, Efficiency Screen, and Raw Material Pull Sheet.
- Oversee training of new employees via the Training Requirements Form (TRF) and ensure timely completion within 30 days of issuance.
- Complete absence reports on a daily basis for all applicable absences.
- Assist in line and machine set-up, monitoring the process to the Control Plan Checkoff and Setup Sheets.
- Monitor weekly shipping requirements when scheduling/planning production activities; assist with shipping/receiving duties when necessary.
- Monitor quality and the process-to-work instructions utilizing the Layered Process Audit format and implement changes.
- Routinely run jobs with the intention of improving safety, the process, the quality of the product, and productivity.
- Communicate the safety, quality, and productivity expectations to production personnel.
- Assist in maintenance troubleshooting.
- Utilizing Lean tools in the pursuit of higher efficiency. Example: Cycle Time, Line Balancing, Process Flow Diagrams.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Advanced organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent customer relations, communication, and team skills

- Associate's Degree, in a related field
