PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews project plans and drawings and ensures that the project is built according to design and local, state, and federal codes.
Document projects, update records, provide material cost and time estimates.
Provides technical assistance and support in electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs.
Installs and maintains low-voltage (480/277, 600 volts) and below (50/60 HZ) single and multi-phase power wiring. Installs feeder and branch circuits including conduit, service wire, fuse and breaker panels, switches, outlets, junction and outlet boxes, lighting fixtures, splices, connectors, and ground wiring.
Responsible for the electrical infrastructure of Unit facilities ensuring power to mission critical facilities are maintained to include developing repair and renovation of electrical projects.
This person will also be able to easily diagnose electrical faults and read and comprehend PLC logic.
Observe all company safety guidelines
Responsible for training apprentices.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
10+ years of experience
Masters Electrician's License
Journeyman's card
Contractor license preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Basic computer knowledge.
Must be able to read blueprints, written specifications, and wiring diagrams.
Advanced knowledge of national and local electrical codes and ordinances.
Possesses skills necessary to diagnose trouble in electrical circuits and relate or interconnected air, gas, water and hydraulic systems and control, etc.
Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standing for entire shift.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Able to twist, bend, stoop as needed.
Safety shoes are required.
Safety glasses are required.
