Senior Associate, Community Management

We're seeking a Senior Associate, Community Manager, to join our team in Detroit. This motivated collaborator will bring their passion for all things social to our high-performance, collaborative team. S/he operates efficiently within a group, executes assigned tasks independently, and can handle multiple projects/clients at a time.
This individual will be responsible for supportingour client's social business. Primary day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring owned social pages and on-going community engagement and management. Tangentially, the candidate is required to conduct social media research and participate in creative brainstorms for social content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
CommunityManagement: monitoring of owned social channels using social media tools to assign, and appropriately evaluate engagements fromcommunity, including Brand partnership and influencer engagements
Remain current on cultural trends and technology while looking for opportunities to incorporate the Brand into conversations
Identify and escalate trending social topics or content to account and strategy teams
Research automotive market and identify areas of opportunity for automotive parts and services brands within social platforms and digital landscape
Liaison between a cross-functional project team, which includes Creative, Paid Media, and Analytics
Escalate potential crises or negative sentiment internal teams
Conduct social media research
Participate in agency brainstorms
Post content across social media platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree; 1-3 years related professional experience
Exceptional writing skills
Storytelling aptitude
Strong analytical skills
Experience and knowledge in Digital Marketing/Social Media Management is required
Experience working with project managers and creatives
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Be a demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
Willingness to learn the automotive industry; and the specifics of this part of the business: bi-directional charging, electric vehicles, batteries and more
Have excellent organization and time management skills
Have a passion and experience for social media and stay ahead of the curve on industry developments Have very strong written and verbal communications skills
Must feel comfortable learning new systems and tools
Havecommunitymanagement experience
Experience activating paid media campaigns a plus
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to assign priorities and meet due dates
Skills/Platforms:
Microsoft Office (experience supporting the development of presentations)
Social media platforms andcommunitymanagement tools including but not limited to TikTok, Meta, Threads, YouTube, Google Analytics, Khoros, Opal

Michigan Salary range: $55,000 - $62,000
