Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Application Development: Maintain and enhance existing .net Core and .Net Framework applications on IIS server, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
Database Integration: Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
Performance Tuning: Monitor and improve the performance of .Net applications and SQL Server databases.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to .Net applications and SQL Server databases, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for .Net applications and database configurations.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 6+ years of IT Experience
Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with a focus on legacy technologies such as NET Web Forms, Windows Forms, Silver light, MVC, MVVM, Razor, Blazor, SSIS , Classic ASP and WCF.
Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in legacy .NET development, including C#, VB.NET, and .NET Framework.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
Solid knowledge of database concepts and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
Experience with modernization techniques such as code refactoring, application re-architecture, and cloud migration is a plus.
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
