General Summary
The Registered Nurse - Hospice provides comprehensive, convenient, and high-quality Hospice services to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of adult and geriatric patients with limited life expectancy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills via phone and face-to-face
Ability to problem-solve
Excellent critical thinking skills
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current Michigan Registered Nurse License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Valid Michigan Driver's license
Dependable automobile insured according to State of Michigan requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Previous nursing experience in Hospice or Home Health setting
Professional Certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence
