As a Graphic Designer and Technical Writer, you will create a wide variety of marketing materials to promote our company's products through various media.
Essential Functions:
- Design presentations for sales meetings, new product launches, and conferences
- Ensure consistency in marketing themes and clear, concise presentation of information
- Update and refresh customer presentations with new information (products, pictures, etc.)
- Update product catalog with new design, products, pictures, etc.; work with engineers and other staff to obtain necessary information
- Coordinate with printing company, website designer, and other vendors as necessary to complete marketing projects and materials
- Generate cut sheets for new products and update existing sheets with new themes, information, etc.
- Create and send email blasts to customers using Mailchimp; includes generating content, designing, and obtaining approval; unsubscribe recipients as requested
- Create and publish ABS quarterly company newsletter (internal) including features such as CEO message, new product features, new hires, upcoming events, etc.
- Update ABS website with new information, such as products page, pictures, job postings, page headings, and news page
- Write press releases, articles, and abstracts
- Create advertisements for print and web
- Design logos for new products and collaborations
- Create videos and post to the ABS YouTube page
- Design booths, banners, and graphics for conferences and trade shows
- Create brochures and update website for ABS Properties
- Assist with themes, banners, invitations, books, etc. for company events
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in use of wide range of media and graphic design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, Movie Maker (or other video editing software); experience preferred using Illustrator or Inkscape
- Excellent communication skills required with emphasis on exceptional writing ability
- Must be able to think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
- Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve a common goal
- Must be organized, accurate, and detail oriented
Education & Experience:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design and/or 3-5 years of graphic design experience required
