Brown's Carpet One Floor and Home in Hastings is seeking a full-time Sales Associate.
The position is an entry level position approximately 40 hours per week.
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and assisting them with any questions they may have about the products and services we offer.
- Using a multi-line phone system to direct customers and vendors to the correct persons or departments
- Willing to do project site measurements and develop quotes for customer jobs
- Handle customer complaints and returns effectively and efficiently
- Mix and custom match paint/stain for customers and projects
- Ordering and maintaining accurate pricing for products
- Generating inventory and stock reports
- Organizing and rotating stock both in our warehouse and on the sales floor. This could require off-loading delivery trucks and ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
- Helping customers load product
- Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays
- Customer Service experience preferred, but not required
- Design, including kitchen, bath, and/or flooring experience a plus, but not required
- Strong computer skills-ability to use and learn multiple software programs
