This full-time position with the Hannahville Indian Community, located in the beautiful central Upper Penisula of Michigan, is responsible for providing direct patient care at the newly built, state of the art, Tribal Health Center. Selected candidate will provide oversight of medical programs and operations, ensuring quality healthcare is delivered. The medical provider assists in maintinaing the daily operations of the clinical settings to meet patient medical needs and expectations. The position is responsible for medical decisions and care provided to patients on a daily basis and providing oversight and assistance to nursing personnel assigned to the patient care team. Base wage is $225,000+, dependent upon qualifications, with a single $25,000 sign on bonus. Comprehensive and competitive benefit package included. Qualifications: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (OD) with professional board certification. Family practice preferred but will consider Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Must be currently licensed and in good standing with the State of Michigan with no previous suspension or revocation of license. Drug Enforcement Administration License, Basic Life Support or Cordiopulmonary Resuscitation also required upon hire.
