Hiawatha Sportsman's Club in Engadine is seeking a full-time Asset Manager.
Job purpose
The Hiawatha Club Asset Manager will be responsible for managing all assets. This includes overseeing acquisitions, maintenance and disposal of assets. They are responsible for ensuring that assets are utilized efficiently and effectively. She/he will work closely with all departments of the Clube to identify the needs of the company and facilitate asset acquisition or disposal. They also develop and implement strategies for managing assets, including maintenance schedules and replacement plans.
Duties and responsibilities
o Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures
o Conduct regular asset inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and replacement requirements
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history
o Manage asset inventory and ensure that all assets are properly tagged and accounted for
o Coordinate with other departments to ensure that assets are used efficiently, effectively and safely as define by MIOSHA standards
o Develop and implement asset maintenance schedules and procedures
o Monitor and report on asset performance and utilization
o Develop and implement asset disposal policies and procedures
o Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including MIOSHA
o Provide guidance and support to other departments on asset management issues
o Makes suggestions for improvements
o All other duties as assigned by the Club Manager.
