Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is actively recruiting a psychiatrist with interest in hospital-based or outpatient centered services. Clinical responsibilities will entail a negotiated flexible blend of applicant interest / preference and HFJH needs . We will partner with interested applicants to create a position both fulfilling and sustainable.
The successful applicant will demonstrate passion for teaching, mentoring, interdisciplinary education, and lifelong learning, and serve as a model of professional behavior and a scholarly approach to clinical work.
If interested, opportunity exists to provide supervision and lectures to residents, medical students, and interdisciplinary learners, and participate in a range of learning forums and scholarly activities.
Summary
· Work and grow within a dynamic and expanding Behavioral Health Service
· Participate in the education and training of a broad array of interdisciplinary learners within a young, evolving, and full-accredited general psychiatry training program.
· Actively collaborate with other onsite accredited residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and General Surgery

Preferred Experience
· One year experience working as a licensed psychiatrist preferred but will enthusiastically entertain newer graduates with passion for clinical service and teaching and determined to be a good fit for the team.
Minimum Education
· Graduate of a medical school.
· Graduate of an ACGME or AOA training program.
· ABPN Board Certified / Eligible
