Lead quality and process system auditing and design and implement quality improvement activities; coordinate with external suppliers and customers regarding engineering specifications, production requirements, manufacturing requirements, and quality issues; coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost; review and analyze new product qualifications for product performance and manufacturability; coordinate with the Global Quality Tracking System (GQTS), monitor for Problem Reporting and Resolution (PRR), and coordinate with responsible party/departments for analysis and resolution; develop and maintain quality information system, register any quality issue on the system, follow up the issue with Kwang Jin Korea and its suppliers, and make recommendations to management; lead advanced product quality planning APQP procedures and processes; develop and maintain Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and coordinate with manufacturing engineers in relevant teams; review all quality related issues, draft Practical Problem-Solving Reports (PPSR), conduct root cause analysis for internal issues, and make recommendations to management regarding relevant issues; monitor process capability for assembly lines and analyze and report data to team leader and other relevant teams; coordinate with management and other department personnel to develop and update design, production, and quality review standards and ongoing sequence of operations; manage IS09001 quality system maintenance, documentation, auditing, scheduling, and status; and maintain global quality support related to internal engineering quality issues.
