Wage: $23.78 an hour exempt Annual Salary $49,462.40

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Dean of Students, this position is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the academic and student information and the information system utilized to accomplish these tasks. The Registrar will meet academic and professional qualifications, demonstrate dedication to academic excellence and student-centered education, and will support the mission and vision of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties of EMPOWER champion, or similar role with other systems (responsible for various updates and acts as a liaison between SCTC and ComSpec for various trainings and concerns.
- Coordinate activities related to the establishment and maintenance of student records utilizing EMPOWER Student Information System; review records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to college
- Oversees transfer credit evaluations with academic officials.
- Ensure the conformity of record release procedures to registration policies and legal requirements governing the confidentiality of student
- Ensure the integrity, maintenance, and security of all students' academic
- Compile information for reports and surveys; prepare reports and surveys reflective of student enrollment and Registrar's Office activities for utilization by college administrators and outside
- Produces academic transcripts and disseminates as appropriate.
- Assist in the establishment and implementation of Registrar's Office policies; ensure compliance with established practices, and keep support staff informed of current changes and standards.

- Coordinate with the Dean of Research and Dean of Students to provide information for institutional planning and reports.
- Prepare and/or assist with the development and submission of educational reports such as but not limited to: American Indian Higher Education Consortium, Bureau of Indian Education, IPEDS, Higher Learning Commission, Department of Education, and American Indian Measures of

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Educational Administration, or related
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver admissions, records and registration
- Two years’ work experience in registration, admissions and
- Must be able to pass background check to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the
Desired Qualifications:
- Member of American Association of Certified Registrars and Admissions Certification preferred.
License, Certification, or Special Requirements:
- Tribal preference and Native American preference shall apply to all
