Setup Technician - Grand Rapids, MI
Job Description
Setup Technicians are multi-functional and are expected to set up and tear down mobile trailers for job sites use. You will perform duties essential to setting up units, including anchoring, block and leveling, interior and exterior seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, building and installing furniture, and moving equipment around the yard. This position includes working outdoors and working independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities
Set up and tear down mobile trailers for job sites
Perform essential duties such as anchoring, block and leveling, interior and exterior seaming, VAPS installation, steps, canopies, and ramps
Load and unload trucks
Build and install furniture
Move equipment around the yard
Complete knock-down duties including building shipping walls, securing exterior walls, separating buildings, disconnecting utility and mate-line crossovers, securing items for shipment, cleaning the site, and removing installations
Additional Skill & Qualifications
Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Mechanical aptitude
Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Computer knowledge

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
