Experience Requirements
- Must be able to pass basic skills tests in English and math. Technical Experience: Must obtain a valid fork lift license, must obtain a valid over head crane permit, must successfully complete annual authorized lock-out training and obtain a lock. Also must successfully complete additional safety procedure training as it relates to the specific equipment being operated.
- Industry Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, principles, and tools preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to meet physical requirements of the job as noted on physical demands analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety procedures, and operation procedures.
- Decision Making: Good decision making, planning, and organizational skills.
- Operating systems principles and objectives (this competency appears in all job descriptions): Knows all established operating systems (e.g. quality, safety, environmental).
