Position Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with the daily functions of the Human Resources department including record keeping, ensuring compliance, enforcing company policies as well as recruiting and onboarding new staff.

Primary Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
• Performs all administrative tasks for pre-onboarding and onboarding
• Conducts new hire orientations
• Enters and maintains accurate employment records in human resources information system (HRIS)
• Updates relevant databases and software as needed
• Performs audits and mandatory compliance reports
• Responds promptly to all employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leadership
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Prepares and tracks time and attendance records and associated tasks
• Writes, updates and follows the department’s procedures
• Assists HR Manager with employee separation processes when necessary
• Performs other duties as assigned
