Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Producer is essential to the success of Rathbun Insurance’s sales operations. This role focuses on selling new commercial lines business, networking, cultivating client relationships, managing sales quotas, and overseeing pipeline management—all while contributing to a culture of success and collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieve Agency Revenue Targets: Sell new insurance policies and services to prospective clients, aligning offerings with their unique needs and upholding Rathbun Insurance’s core values.
- Expand Professional Network: Participate in industry events and local networking opportunities to foster connections and partnerships while building Rathbun’s reputation in the community.
- Cultivate Client Relationships: Nurture relationships through open communication, personalized service, and a commitment to “Being There Matters Most.”
- Stay Informed: Maintain extensive knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide valuable guidance to clients and insights to the sales team.
- Exceed Sales Goals: Meet or exceed established sales quotas and targets, contributing to the financial success of the agency.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of potential business opportunities through timely follow-up and collaborative efforts with the sales team.
Support Team: The Commercial Lines department is supported by three experienced account managers, ensuring producers have the resources needed to succeed.
