Description:

• Prepare foods as directed.
• Perform other kitchen tasks related to the preparation and cleanup of the kitchen.
• Maintain production records, food deposits, and other tasks as directed by the Food Service Director and/or Superintendent of Schools.

Hours:

• Daily Hours: 5.75 hours per day
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (or as assigned by the Food Service Director and/or Superintendent of Schools)
• Workdays: Days of student attendance only

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma and a minimum 10th-grade reading level.
• Experience in preparing and serving to large groups of people.
• Knowledgeable of the problems of volume cooking.
• Able to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
• Able to maintain composure and self-control in association with students, teachers, parents, and staff.
• Able to convey a positive image when working with people.
• Qualifications as described in the job description.
• Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
