Position Title: Outpatient Therapist (Full-time, Exempt)
Reports To: Director of Clinical Services
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Function
Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Clinical Services, the Outpatient Therapist performs all duties related to the position.
Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains a standard productivity per week.
- Establishes and maintains a regular schedule, Monday – Thursday starting at 8:00 AM, including two evenings until 8:00 PM at the Agency.
- Collects information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports.
- Completes clinical and administrative documentation according to requirements imposed by the Agency, contracts, and accrediting bodies.
- Provides logistical support for Agency front office operations.
- Attends necessary supervision and Agency meetings based on licensure, credentialing, and Agency requirements.
- Continually increases level of cultural sensitivity, awareness, and competency.
- Abides by policies and procedures set forth by the Agency.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think critically, problem-solve, remain highly organized, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention.
- Advanced knowledge of working with diverse populations, including individuals, families, and groups.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Electronic Medical Records.

- Must hold and maintain current licensure within the state of Michigan: LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, or LPC are all encouraged to apply.
