Responsibilities:
- Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed dimensional requirements of the customer
- Retrieve models, drawings, and specifications from database
- Prepare reports and "road-maps" in required formats
- Collect and analyze data and advise necessary personnel of discrepancies
- Provide CMM data for sample part submission
- Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality Registrations (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Assist with plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals
Required Education & Experience:
- Associates / Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Desired 2+ years experience as a CMM programmer / operator in PCDMIS preferred
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in calibration methods and use of measuring tools
- Technical math skills
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read and write in English and Perform mathematical calculations
