The Career Coach is responsible for providing the following services to the WIOA customer: recruitment, enrollment, career assessment, job search assistance, resume writing, goal setting, supportive services, job club, intensive activities, training, case management and follow-up. The Career Coach is also required to assist with referring customers to open jobs orders and serving as back-up to the team. Will assist in ES Resource Room to help serve customers and ensure overall coverage. Staff is required to work a flexible schedule when needed to cover special events.
The Career Coach will assist Business Services personnel in all facets of business services to fill available jobs; provide prescreened referrals for open orders; meet or exceed placement goals set forth; and work cooperatively with WIOA team during the coordination of large-scale hiring events. The Career Coach is responsible for performing follow-up to reach customers during post program follow-up in accordance with established procedures and programmatic regulations.
