Remote position in the Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) program where the psychotherapist provides virtual Collaborative Care to patients under 21 years old. T
Pychotherapists collaborate with psychiatric consultants and pediatricians to provide brief interventions to pediatric patients with mild to moderate behavioral health concerns.
The Behavioral Health Integration program was created with the goal of increasing access to behavioral health care for pediatric patients with mild to moderate behavioral health symptoms who present at their pediatrician's office. In the BHI program, a patient, their pediatrician, a psychiatrist, and a psychotherapist work together to provide brief behavioral health interventions and medication management for the patient.
A small team of behavioral health providers can provide care across a large geographic area by utilizing video visits to treat patients.
The BHI program works to bring quick and convenient care to patients by focusing on collaboration, coping skills, and medication management.
Therapist provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
Psychotherapist is responsible for providing individual family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post masters experience; OR master's degree in social work with two years post Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed master's in social work.
LMSW with at least 2 years of outpatient experience preferred.
Past experience with collaborative or integrated behavioral health care preferred. Epic experience

Will consider candidates with at least 2 years of psychiatric ED or inpatient experience.
