Job Description
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-related activities within our organization. You will work closely with other team members to collect, analyze, and present data insights that inform decision-making and drive business growth. A motivated individual seeking to grow and advance within the company, while continually developing new skills and expertise through learning opportunities.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working closely with Business Intelligence Manager and IT Coordinator to ensure communication as well as compliance
- Creating reports for other departments as needed
- Gathering data from various sources
- Ensuring that data is accurate and assisting in the analysis of data
- Reporting on findings in reports
- Maintaining data quality and ensuring standards are met
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
Skill Requirements
- Analytical background is preferred (e.g., supply chain, purchasing, accounting, business) through education or work experience.
- Experience with SAP B1 is a plus.
- Experience with Excel VBA is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python or SQL is a plus.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, type, and read.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks, pre-placement health appraisals, and drug screening.
- Work environment regularly exposes employees to a light noise level (phone conversations).
- Employee may be required to enter the Company's shop area and visit customer sites where the noise level may be moderate to high.
