Packer and QC Inspector- Plastics (1st Shift)
As a Packer and QC Inspector you will be cleaning and packaging panels, assisting laminators, scoring and saw operators, and completing final quality inspection of all panels that are packed.
Currently there is an opening for a Packer and QC Inspector in our Plastics division on 1st shift (Monday - Thursday 6:30AM to 4:30PM)
Plastics Packer and QC Inspector: Starting at $18.90 per hour!
Key Responsibilities:
Verify correct quality, color, and size of product.
Clean product to be packaged.
Load skids and protect product.
Crate finished goods.
Fill out shipment info forms.
Fill out and attach shipping labels.
Assist lamination, scoring, and saw operations as needed.
Completes necessary paperwork.
Fill out non-conforming product reports per non-conforming procedure.
Assist other departments as necessary.
Read work orders and follow instructions.
Frequently asks production area if they need help.
Provide the customer with the best value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt professional manner.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
Performs all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Read, interpret, and provide feedback on the production schedule.
Coordinate movement of goods with the material handler and production staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work overtime
Mechanically inclined
