Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role requires cross-training on various tasks within the shop, including assembly, laser operation, and metal fabrication using brake presses and manual machinery. The ideal candidate must be willing to assist wherever needed.
Responsibilities
Load steel onto machines.
Inspect and check quality of parts after machine processing.
Sand and deburr parts as necessary.
Perform quality checks and inspections.
Stack parts onto racks and move them to the shipping and receiving department.
Help maintain cleanliness of the shop by sweeping and cleaning.
Essential Skills
1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a job-shop setting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility in job duties and willingness to help where needed.

Work Environment
Our job shop setting includes around 40 employees and features lasers, CNC machines, brake press machines, various drilling machines, assembly, and welding. The shop can get hot, but we have fans and open doors during the summer to circulate air. Although it is a clean shop for a metal job shop, you will get your clothes dirty from the metal. Initiative and teamwork are highly important in this role.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
