Job Title: Chemist
Our client, which is focused on providing quality assurance, testing inspections, and certification services for its clients, needs to add an additional Chemist to its team due to internal promotions.
This Chemist role requires a recently earned Bachelor of Science, ideally in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Environmental Science (Majors in which chemistry labs were a requirement), an interest in working with instruments/techniques such as GC, UV Vis, Mercury Analysis, atomic absorption, Distillation, etc., and the ability to record results for quality measures, along with the ability to work four, 10-hour days a week.
Our ideal candidate needs to have a positive attitude, be hard-working and self-motivated, and have excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Theoretical knowledge of chemical stoichiometry and mathematics, and gravimetric, volumetric, instrumental, and physical methods of analysis is a necessity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science ideally in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Environmental Science (Majors in which chemistry labs were a requirement)
Able to work 4, 10hr days
(4-day rotating schedule, 4 on then 4 off) The schedule will rotate from mornings one month to evenings the next: 7 am - 5 pm, 7 pm - 5 am.
Shift flexibility is the biggest attribute required in addition to the Bachelor of Science with chemistry labs taken.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00
