The ideal candidate will be a graduate from the approved nursing program with active credentials as a Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant or LPN. Will consider CNA credentials with related experience. Proficient in computer skills/electronic medical records. EclinicalWorks experience a plus.
Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Promotes wellness by providing patient education materials. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and care.
Manage patient records, including maintaining accurate medical terminology and documentation. Can professionally communicate with patients and their parents. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
Initiate patient specialists referrals, professional follow up with other medical offices and facilities.
Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and medical histories.
Administration of vaccines, injections and medications. Understanding of basic laboratory procedures in a CLIA waived environment.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and medical equipment.
