JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Entry Level individual to work in our aerospace and automotive segments.
YOU'LL LEARN TO (DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests
- Reject and return unacceptable materials
- Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor(s)
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste, and input data into a quality database
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Additional job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Recent graduate or a current student studying Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or similar field preferred
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Ability to pass a drug test in compliance with the law
- Ability to pass a background check in compliance with the law
- To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicants should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
