This position has a pay rate of annual start rate of $57,720/year.

Ensures that needed and appropriate services are provided as required by State of Michigan laws, contractual and licensing requirements and applicable service standards through the provision of direct service as provided by assigned adoption workers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate the intake process, assignment of new cases to social work staff, and service delivery in accordance with organization, division, regulatory standards and contract requirements.
Provide on-going leadership to staff in accordance with established policies, procedures, program objectives and contract standards. Partner with Human Resources in talent acquisition and retention efforts. Assist in preparation and implementation of relevant professional development, training and performance management.
Review, correct and assist in the writing of all social work reports, treatment and correspondence.
Audit case records quarterly to ensure completeness, timeliness, compliance with prescribed services, and adherence to licensing standards, accreditation, and policies; make recommendations and assure corrective action as needed.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery and contracts to ensure contract requirements are met for clients as specified in service plans and developmental goals.
Participate in performance related goal setting and take the lead role in monitoring for accountability to assure that both staff and teams meet their performance objectives. Participate in outcomes measurement and evaluation, and planning to meet service delivery standards.
Provide direct service as needed to ensure continuous organization supervision and service provision to clients, foster and adoptive parents as required by licensing and funding bodies.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, referral agencies/organizations and other organization personnel. Represent the organization in interagency context.
Assist in preparation of annual operating budget and recommendations for capital expenditures, ensuring budgetary adherence.
Assist in the maintenance of information and data management systems by providing information and statistical reports as required.
Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
Master degree in Human Behavioral Science field preferred; or a Bachelor degree in a Human Behavioral Science field required.
Licensed by the State of Michigan as a social worker preferred.
Experience
Three years' work experience in a child welfare agency, a child caring institution, or an agency performing a child welfare function required.
Additional Work Requirements
Unrestricted, valid driver's license with good driving record. Reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served; proof of current automobile insurance.
