Hiring in Holly, Mi for an Acme Gridley Screw Machine Setup Technician with 3+ years of experience performing setup of Acme Gridley Screw Machines, leadership knowledge a plus!
Compensation: up to $35/hr. depending on experience *Acme Gridley Screw Machine experience required.
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm (8-hour shifts) Monday – Friday.
ACME GRIDLEY SCREW MACHINE SETUP POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position is an integral role to support production operations on first shift Screw Machine Department. Shop has over 20 machines, this position will be supporting 5-7 machine operations to maintain production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Must be able to setup, repair, and troubleshoot Acme automatic screw machines.
- Assist machine operators in machine operation and problem resolution.
- Experience in a high-volume production machining environment is preferred.
- Overtime is paid time and a half and is available.
Job Requirements:
- This job requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of previous experience with Acme Gridley Screw Machines.
- You must also be capable of lifting part filled tubs weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read micrometers, calipers and blueprints.
- Must be able to communicate with management and operators in the screw machine department.
- Must be able to help with quoting and estimation of new screw machine parts.
Specific Requirements:
- You must possess a valid driver’s license.
