Position Description:
The Research Coordinator is a member of the research team and assists in the recruitment, care, and follow-up of patients eligible for or registered to a clinical trial. The Research Coordinator provides study coordination and support that ensures exceptional, ethical, safe care yielding high-quality data.

You will be responsible for ensuring study treatment protocols are followed through application of independent judgement, communication and collaboration with the research patient, patient's family, ancillary/support services, the physician, and the clinical research team.

What's Required:
Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of previous experience in healthcare, research, or a combination of both
Understanding of medical terminology as well as standard clinical procedures and protocols
Demonstrates competency in the use of a variety of computer programs, including Microsoft products, multiple EHR systems across Munson, and electronic data entry systems, as required by individual protocols, sponsors or hospital systems
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Superior time management, organizational skills and follow-through on tasks/responsibilities
Effectively sets priorities
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail
Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptions
Ability to interpret and adhere to complex trial protocols and manuals and explain them to multidisciplinary team
