TITLE: Logistics Clerk
WORK SUMMARY: Perform shipping and receiving transactions for incoming and outgoing customer parts. Working with supervision and other support agencies to provide shipping and receiving support tasks to meet on-time delivery. Must be a safety-minded, motivated individual who works well with a team and independently.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete PCS shipping and receiving documents in accordance with established procedures
- Schedule and track shipments
- Invoicing of customer parts
- Provide shipping and tracking communications to customers
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from delivery trucks and trailers
- Verify accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments
- Prepare and load freight into shipping containers and prepare and package parts and materials for shipment
- Track, manage, and arrange shipping crates in storage and retrieve crates with instructions
- Operate only authorized equipment and machinery safely in accordance with instructions
- Keep work area clean and neat at all times
- Perform other associated tasks as may be assigned
SPCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Read, write and understand the English language
- Proficient with standard Microsoft computer programs, data entry and spreadsheets
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead crane (or willingness to learn)
- Basic carpentry skills are a plus
