Job Summary:
The Component Stock Clerk is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and tracking inventory of parts, and components with the crib or designated storage area. This role ensures that the necessary materials are available to support product, and operational needs while adhering to inventory control and safety standards. Assisting co workers within the shipping department as work load demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Receive, store, and issue, components, and materials.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Track and document incoming and outgoing items in inventory systems.
- Stock Replenishment:
- Organization and Storage:
- Arrange components in an orderly manner for easy access.
- Label and categorize inventory to maintain an efficient work flow.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Communicate with production teams and leaders to understand their requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and stock movements.
- Generate reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and trends.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all materials are stored and handled in compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify and report damaged or defective items.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related fields.
- Proficiency in inventory software (Global Shop)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, and climb steps if required.
- Basic knowledge of tools, parts, or components used in the specific industry.
Work Environment:
- May involve standing, walking, and moving materials for extended periods.
- Work is typically performed in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
