Works closely with and under the direction of the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator/Finance Director. Responsible for administering a centralized human resources program for County government. Manages and administers all employee benefit programs including multiple retirement systems, and the Wage and Salary\Class Compensation Program. Manages other components of the personnel system such as FMLA, ADA, COBRA, Workers Compensation, and implementation and compliance of numerous collective bargaining contracts. Provides staff support to all departments and Elected Officials related to HR, payroll, and personnel related matters and functions. This position is responsible for human resource functions, payroll, and other related work. It performs complex administrative duties and requires extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations, County policies, and public acts.
Salary Range is $72,798-$87,431.
