GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under direct physician supervision, transcribes dictated information during clinical visits into electronic health records (EHRs) such as patient history, physical examination family, social, and past medical history. This position is also responsible for documentation of procedures, lab results, and clinical physician impressions pertaining to the patient's encounter.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
Previous scribe and healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Efficient computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology.
