The Operational Excellence Specialist II (Continuous Improvement) analyzes and enhances processes to drive safety, productivity, and cost efficiency. They collect and assess data to recommend sustainable improvements and coach change agents in continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3–4+ years relevant experience.
- 3–4+ years in continuous improvement within manufacturing or pharma (aseptic experience a plus).
- Experience leading Kaizen events and problem-solving.
- Lean or Six Sigma team experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience with cGMP/FDA guidelines.
- Familiarity with MasterControl or similar electronic quality systems.
- Understanding of quality standards, manufacturing, and QA in pharma/biotech.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as CI consultant across departments.
- Coach individuals in CI tools and methodologies.
- Facilitate CI initiatives aligning with company goals.
- Develop CI project plans and roadmaps.
- Train on Root Cause Analysis tools.
- Lead standardization and change control efforts.
