We are ready to shape a stronger future for our company and invest in your success.Job SummaryReporting to the Quality Inspection and Training Manager, this role directly supervises the Safari University, all training programs and maintains the Safari training databases. This position has no direct reports.Primary Responsibilities:Conduct all Safari Onboarding Training to include but not limited to company and policy overviews, electrostatic damage control ESD), component handling, company documentation, global harmonization, component identification and hand soldering.Provide initial company tours for all new hires.Issue safety equipment to include safety glasses/goggles/side-shields, ESD heel straps and ESD wrist straps.Conduct all industry certification and re-certification training (IPC)Maintenance and upkeep of all Safari training databasesMaintenance and upkeep of all Safari On the Job Training (OJT) tracking chartsTrack, compile and present monthly training hoursPerform selected OJT courses as neededProduct Inspection as neededSupport Training, Quality and Company objectives and goals.Identify and drive continuous improvement activities and projects.Minimum Requirements:Training program oversight/related field or 5 years Training experienceSolid understanding of the following bodies of knowledge:IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721Certify and maintain certification as an IPC CIT (Certified Instructor of Technology) in at least the IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001.
