Overview
Associate Project Manager ObjectiveTo lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery and management of projects. To define, schedule, control, and adjust all tasks and workloads. To guide and ensure the project is adhering to the project management best practices as defined in the Program/Project Management Plan. To manage project issues and risks while ensuring that customer expectations are managed, and project commitments are met.
Responsibilities
Associate Project Manager ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. Manage scope, budget, issues, risks, changes, deliverables, communications, quality, and schedules for projects. Manage and report project financials against assigned budgets. Engage with project sponsors, key stakeholders, end users, business leadership, Information Technology, and vendors. Facilitate regular meetings to present project status, issues, risks, accomplishments, and next steps.
Qualifications
Associate Project Manager Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in business, insurance, or other related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered. One to three years of project management required. Willingness to pursue job-related training and education required. PreferredActively pursuing Certified Associate Project Manager or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
