Responsible for planning, coordinating, instructing and monitoring health education programs and services to various groups and individuals. Participates in the development and implementation of the marketing plan, and record keeping processes. Assists in making recommendations and implementing marketing plans.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Health Education, or a closely related field required.
Equivalent experience will be considered.
Approximately two to three years progressively more responsible related work experience in order to possess proven group leadership skills, ability to develop and coordinate educational programs and acquire skills necessary to provide instruction.
Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact and develop effective relations with a wide variety of individuals.
Ability to be effective in stressful situations.
Analytical skills necessary in order to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of service line outcomes.
Must be able to demonstrate basic Physical Activity (PA) techniques.
Maintains clinical affiliation in area of specialization.
Must be able to stand for 33%-66% of work time.
Must be able to exhort moderate physical effort (lift/carry/push/pull objects to 25 lbs.)
Must have the presence and demeanor necessary to represent HFMH effectively in the course of performing job responsibilities.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification preferred.
