Clinical Specialist – Crisis Stabilization/Mobile Response
$1,000 signing bonus! Completes preadmission screenings for individuals requesting crisis stabilization services to determine eligibility for program services and/or to recommend an alternative level of care. Conducts brief assessments. Provides crisis intervention, short-term and solution-focused counseling, and intensive case management services in the individual’s home when appropriate. Facilitates individual’s transition to appropriate aftercare service. Works Monday – Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 12 midnight with availability to stay beyond if needed for crisis response.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work with current Michigan licensure. A master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling with current Michigan licensure appropriate to the field of study preferred. LMSW preferred. Must have two years of experience working in the mental health field with proven crisis intervention skills. Knowledge of substance use disorders with current CAADC credential preferred. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and availability of reliable transportation for
outreach work.
Salary
Salary range for Bachelor’s credential $50,881 – $62,946; salary range for Master’s credential $62,269 – $73,725 dependent on status of credential and experience, plus exceptional fringes including employer sponsored training, pension, and insurance. $1,000 signing bonus!
