Job: Inventory and Production Coordinator
IMC is looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to help manage inventory, support production scheduling, and improve the flow of materials throughout our facility. This role will work closely with multiple departments to ensure inventory is accurate, materials are available when needed, and jobs move efficiently through the shop.
The ideal candidate may have experience in inventory control, retail inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, scheduling, or supply chain coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and inventory locations.
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages.
- Receive, organize, and track materials throughout the facility.
- Support production scheduling and help prioritize work through the shop.
- Work with purchasing, production, and shipping to keep jobs moving on schedule.
- Help implement and improve inventory and production tracking processes.
- Train and support employees on inventory procedures and system usage.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and material flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, retail inventory management, scheduling, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with employees across all departments.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
