Position Summary:
The Program Manager for Innovation & Online (IOL ) Degree Pathways will develop structures, timelines, and systems to successfully implement and manage all components of an Innovation Investment Award (IIA ) grant aimed at increasing adult learner degree pathways and completion. Working in close concert with the principal investigators, this position will lead and collaborate with key internal and external constituents in the development, implementation, tracking, and reporting of objectives outlined within the awarded project. This position will be responsible for managing proposals for online programs and developing interconnected, sustainable learning experiences that encompass professional development, continuing education, and workforce development initiatives. This externally sponsored project is in support of Michigan’s sixty by 30 initiative.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience managing a project or portfolio, including those that are multi-year and cross-collaborative.
Demonstrated ability and comfort leading a team through evolving priorities and goals.
Excellent interpersonal networking skills with proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
Proven ability to support and advance strategic initiatives of an organization through development and implementation of goals and objectives.
Proven ability to apply measurable outcomes to project goals and timelines in a collaborative way.
Ability to effectively compile data and present project reports/presentations to internal and external constituents.
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to serve as a positive representative of the University.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
Experience developing innovative curriculum that is aligned with industry and market demand.
Experience and/or familiarity with online education programming and adult learner populations.
Experience working with externally sponsored projects.
Skilled at communicating with diverse stakeholders, setting expectations, and driving consensus.
Knowledge and expertise with change management methodologies and facilitating organizational/transformational changes.
Demonstrated understanding or practical experience with the needs of adult learners and pathways to degree completion.
Familiarity with emerging trends in program options such as stackable credentials, badging, and competency-based education.

Pay Range: $58,000 - $70,000 per year
