AUDIOLOGY CLINICAL SUPERVISOR / PART-TIME

Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Audiology Clinical Supervisor are clinical teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate audiology students performing audiological evaluation and treatment of clients in the audiology program. These responsibilities are carried out in the Carls Center, off campus sites as assigned, and in support of Mobile Health Central. Direct clinical services to the community are provided by the Audiology Clinical Supervisor on a twelve month basis. Functions under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Instruction and Audiology Services or a designated representative. Exercises supervision over student employees as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD and/or PhD) or Master’s Degree in Audiology (MA/MS) obtained prior to 2007.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence: Audiology (CCC -A) or the ability to become eligible upon hire.
Current Michigan License in Audiology or eligible for licensure upon hire.
Effective oral/written communication skills.
Must have a demonstrated commitment to diversity.

Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of professional experience as an audiologist.
Two years of experience in the clinical supervision of audiology students.
Expertise in audiometric evaluation of all ages, amplification for all ages, auditory processing evaluation, and other areas of expertise will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides clinical teaching and supervision of undergraduate and graduate audiology students.
Performs audiological evaluation and treatment of clients and subsequent follow-up.
Coordinates/supervises students at off campus sites.
Provides audiologic support services to Mobile Health Central.
Provides support services to school personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
