Description:
DHT is actively looking for EXPERIENCED flatbed semi- truck drivers. This position is an OTR position. The applicant must have prior experience with flat- bed semi- trucks, including B trains.

Flatbed Driver Essential Duties:
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods
• Fit 4-foot and 8-foot tarps over loaded product to safely secure it to the trailer
• Operate an industrial vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws
• Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals
• Assists with loading and unloading of materials, using specialized equipment when warranted
• Maintains work orders, signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork
• Facilitates routine service on trucks and reports equipment issues to appropriate parties
• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
• Verify load weight distribution as product is loaded onto the trailer
Flatbed Driver Compensation Package:
• Up to $2,000 sign on bonus for experienced drivers
• Competitive pay - paid per mile (.54-.60)
