As a Yard Services Specialist you are responsible for:
- Inventory management – unloading, receiving, labeling and staging material
- Building and checking that building material loads going out for delivery are safe, secure, and correct
- Maintain a high level of customer service by assisting customers with material pick-ups
- Providing superior customer service
- Working collaboratively with vendors, customers, and the entire Preston Feather team to ensure an enjoyable customer experience
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to consistently demonstrate the ability to:
- Make safety the highest priority – ALWAYS
- Utilize critical thinking skills to safely and effectively build loads for the end user
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout yard and warehouse for storing / staging
- Be flexible and adapt to changing load schedules and operational business needs
- Communicate effectively and listen intentionally
- Work in a physically demanding environment to include year-round outdoor work, lifting and loading product that weighs up to 100 pounds, and walk/stand for prolonged periods of time

Required qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior forklift experience is preferred, Moffett experience is very beneficial
- A valid chauffeur’s license and medical certificate is required
- At least two years of full-time work experience is required
